Ind. Code § 14-19-11-5

Authority a body corporate and politic

As added by P.L.127-2022, SEC.23.

Sec. 5. (a) The authority is:

(1) a public body corporate and politic; and

(2) an instrumentality of the state.

(b) The authority is separate from the state. However, the exercise of its powers is an essential governmental and public function.
