Sec. 38. "Channel" has the following meaning:
(1) For purposes of IC 14-28-1 and IC 14-28-3, the natural or artificial channel of a river or stream.
(2) For purposes of IC 14-29-4, the meaning set forth in IC 14-29-4-1.
