citing decisions per year

Court decisions citing this, by year. The dip in the last several years is a data-coverage gap, not a real trend — our corpus holds fewer opinions from the most recent years, so recent citations are undercounted.

Sec. 7. If:

(1) a child is in detention; and

(2) the times in sections 1, 2, and 3 of this chapter are not followed;

the child shall be released on the child's own recognizance or to the child's parents, guardian, or custodian.
