Ind. Code § 33-38-11-4

Sec. 4. A temporary judge may:

(1) conduct a jury trial;

(2) receive the verdict of the jury; and

(3) make and enter the judgment on the jury verdict;

in a civil case referred to the temporary judge by the judge of the court.
