Ind. Code § 9-32-2.1-39

"Stop sale directive"

As added by P.L.104-2024, SEC.31.

Sec. 39. "Stop sale directive" means a notification issued by a manufacturer or distributor stating that a new or used vehicle in inventory may not be sold or leased at retail or wholesale due to:

(1) a federal safety recall for:

(A) a defect; or

(B) a noncompliance; or

(2) a federal emissions recall.
