Same; certification by payees; false pretenses

L. 1939, ch. 100, § 2; June 30.

The payees of such checks shall certify thereupon over their signatures that such services were rendered, supplies furnished, or refunds received, as the case may be, and any false certification on such checks shall be deemed obtaining money under false pretenses and punished as provided by law.
