(a) All funds held in a permanent maintenance fund shall not be subject to attachment, garnishment or other legal process, nor be seized, taken, appropriated or applied to pay any debt or liability of the cemetery corporation, buyer or beneficiary, by any legal or equitable process or by operation of law.
(b) This section shall be part of and supplemental to article 13 of chapter 17 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, and amendments thereto.
