Record of election

Should a majority of all the votes cast in the county to which the territory belonged be in favor of the proposed change, the clerk of the board of commissioners of said county shall notify the clerk of the board of commissioners of the county or counties interested therein, and should it be found that a majority of the votes cast in each of the counties interested are in favor of the proposed change, due record shall be made thereof in each of the counties interested.
