Canvass of first election

G.S. 1868, ch. 26, § 6; March 3; R.S. 1923, 19-1606.

The board of commissioners shall meet on the Saturday following said election, and proceed to canvass the vote; and the place having received the majority of all the votes cast shall be proclaimed by them the county seat of the county.
