If any main sewer is located so that it receives or may receive sewage from more than one district, the board may provide that the cost of the main sewer below a designated point be divided among the districts in proportion to the benefit received. The proportion of the cost shall be assessed against the district as provided by K.S.A. 19-27a07 . The board shall: (a) Designate the point in the line of the main sewer below which the provisions of this section apply; (b) describe the proposed location of the main sewer from such point to the outlet of the same or to the county boundary; (c) state the method of the payment of the cost of the main sewer by the benefiting districts; and (d) the proportion of the cost to be assessed against each district.
