K.S.A. 32-1009

Nongame species

Except as provided in rules and regulations adopted pursuant to K.S.A. 32-963 , and amendments thereto, it shall be unlawful for any person to take, possess, transport, export, process, sell or offer for sale or ship nongame species deemed by the secretary to be in need of conservation pursuant to K.S.A. 32-959 , and amendments thereto. Subject to the same exception, it shall further be unlawful for any common carrier knowingly to transport or receive for shipment nongame species deemed by the secretary to be in need of conservation pursuant to K.S.A. 32-959 , and amendments thereto.
