K.S.A. 55-712

The commission is hereby authorized to employ or designate such agents as may in its judgment be necessary to enforce and administer the provisions of this act, and the rules and regulations and orders promulgated thereunder; such agents, with the exception of clerical help, to be experienced in and conversant with the business of the production of natural gas.
