Instruments as evidence

G.S. 1868, ch. 22, § 26; October 31; R.S. 1923, 67-229.

Every instrument in writing, conveying or affecting real estate, which shall be acknowledged or proved and certified as hereinbefore prescribed, may, together with the certificates of acknowledgment or proof, be read in evidence without further proof.
