Records affecting titles ceasing to impart notice

L. 1963, ch. 303, 60-2505; January 1, 1964.

Judicial files and records affecting the title to real estate which have been lost or destroyed shall not be deemed to impart constructive notice of their contents, so as to bind purchasers in good faith, unless an application for the restoration of the same shall be filed within one (1) year from date of the destruction or loss.
