Within 60 days after the director of property valuation has issued an order abating any motor carrier ad valorem tax liability levied by the director, notice of the abatement shall be made by the director to the clerk of the district court of the various counties where a warrant for the tax liability has been filed. The clerk of the district court so notified shall mark the entry in the appearance docket as abated by order of the director of property valuation and the clerk in turn shall abate all court costs including sheriff's fees, if any.
