Prerequisites to becoming licensed fire protection sprinkler contractor

Known as the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Contractors' Act

The act spans §§ 198B.010 to 198B.991 (145 sections).

To become a licensed fire protection sprinkler contractor under KRS 198B.560, a person shall:

(1) Have in his or her employ a certificate holder;

(2) Comply with the minimum insurance requirements established by KRS 198B.595; and (3) Make application to the commissioner for a license and pay the fees required. Effective:June 29, 2017
