Penalties

Known as the Kentucky Admission Act

The act spans §§ 202B.010 to 202B.990 (36 sections).

(1) The unwarranted admission of any person under the provisions of this chapter; or (2) The denial of any person of any of the rights accorded to him under the provisions of this chapter shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five thousand dollars ($5,000) or imprisonment for a term not to exceed five (5) years or both.

(3) Any person who violates the confidentiality of any mental health record under the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.
