KRS 67A.841

Definitions for KRS 67A.840 to 67A.850 and KRS 91A.390

As used in KRS 67A.840 to 67A.850 and KRS 91A.390, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

(1) "Conservation easement" means an interest in land, less than fee simple, which restricts or prevents the development or improvement of the land in the fashion provided in the instrument of conveyance by which the easement is created;

(2) "Development right" means an interest in real property established under a purchase of development rights program which is made severable from the parcel to which the interest is appurtenant and which may be purchased as provided for in the program; and (3) "Purchase of development rights program" or "PDR program" or "program" means a comprehensive program providing for the establishment and purchase of development rights in accordance with the requirements of KRS 67A.840 to 67A.850 and KRS 91A.390.
