Additional salary of assistant district attorneys

A. The first assistant district attorney for the Fifteenth Judicial District of this state shall receive as compensation for his services, in addition to the annual salary paid him by the state an annual salary of not less than seven thousand two hundred dollars, nor more than ten thousand two hundred dollars, as established by the governing authorities of the parishes comprising the Fifteenth Judicial District, the amount so established to be payable monthly on the warrant of the said assistant district attorney by the parishes comprising the judicial district apportioned as follows:

(1) By the parish of Acadia, the sum of not less than two thousand four hundred dollars, nor more than three thousand four hundred dollars per annum.

(2) By the parish of Lafayette, the sum of not less than two thousand four hundred dollars, nor more than three thousand four hundred dollars, per annum.

(3) By the parish of Vermilion, the sum of not less than two thousand four hundred dollars, nor more than three thousand four hundred dollars per annum.

B. The second assistant district attorney for the Fifteenth Judicial District of this state shall receive as compensation for his services, in addition to the annual salary paid him by the state an annual salary of not less than seven thousand two hundred dollars, nor more than ten thousand two hundred dollars, as established by the governing authorities of the parishes comprising the Fifteenth Judicial District, the amount so established to be payable monthly on the warrant of the said assistant district attorney by the parishes comprising the judicial district apportioned as follows:

(1) By the parish of Acadia, the sum of not less than two thousand four hundred dollars, nor more than three thousand four hundred dollars per annum.

(2) By the parish of Lafayette, the sum of not less than two thousand four hundred dollars, nor more than three thousand four hundred dollars, per annum.

(3) By the parish of Vermilion, the sum of not less than two thousand four hundred dollars, nor more than three thousand four hundred dollars per annum.
