Termination of custodianship

Known as the Louisiana Uniform Transfers to Minors Act

The act spans §§ 9–9 (40 sections).

The custodian shall transfer in an appropriate manner the custodial property to the minor or to the minor's estate upon the earlier of the following:

(1) The minor's attainment of twenty-two years of age.

(2) The minor's judicial emancipation.

(3) The minor's death.
