Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 102, § 12

Fees of weighers

Each weigher shall receive from the owner or master of a vessel weighed and marked twenty cents for every ton of such vessel, and four dollars for furnishing marks, nails and other necessary articles, fastening the same and giving the certificate.
