Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 111, § 174

Driving animal on ice of pond or stream used for domestic water supply

Whoever, not being engaged in cutting or harvesting ice, or in hauling logs, wood or lumber, drives any animal on the ice of a pond or stream used for domestic water supply for a town shall be punished by a fine of not more than fifty dollars or by imprisonment for not more than one month.
