Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 13, § 78

Board of registration of psychologists; removal of member for cause; notice; right to hearing

The governor shall have the power to remove from office any member of the board for cause; but no board member may be so removed without being informed in writing at least thirty days in advance of the reasons for his removal and of his right to a public or private hearing with counsel.
