Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 140, § 90E

Penalty

Whoever directly or indirectly charges, takes or receives for any loan which is subject to the provisions of section ninety A a greater rate of interest than is allowed by said section shall be punished by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars, or by imprisonment for not more than one year, or both.
