Wages shall be paid in accordance with section 148 of this chapter and any minimum wage and overtime requirements as provided for in chapter 151. A PEO who fails to pay wages, to the extent the PEO has assumed responsibility in the professional employer agreement or subsequent written agreement and as required under this chapter, shall be subject to penalties under this chapter.
