Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 175, § 149C

Unclaimed funds; payment to state treasurer

On or before the first day of September in each year, each life company shall pay over to the state treasurer all unclaimed funds set forth in the report required by section one hundred and forty-nine B, excepting any funds which since the date of such report have ceased to be unclaimed. Each such payment shall be accompanied by a duplicate of the report made under section one hundred and forty-nine B, together with a statement with respect to any funds which since the date of such report have ceased to be unclaimed.
