Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 176, § 11

Fraudulent alteration, etc., of records

Whoever with fraudulent intent alters, defaces, mutilates, destroys or conceals any record of any society made by or in the custody of the secretary thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars or by imprisonment for not more than one year, or both.
