Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 179, § 23

Voting rights; land enclosed for one proprietor's exclusive benefit

At meetings of proprietors for adopting rules or regulations as to pasturing, land of a proprietor enclosed for his exclusive benefit shall not be valued or reckoned in determining his right to vote on questions relative to pasturing his land.
