Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 185, § 87

At any time after final judgment or decree in favor of the defendant, or other disposition in the manner specified in section sixteen of chapter one hundred and eighty-four, of any case where a memorandum has been registered as provided in the preceding section, a certificate of the clerk, stating the manner of disposal thereof, as provided in said section sixteen, shall be entitled to registration.
