Recommendations by water resources commission

Known as the Massachusetts Clean Waters Act

The act spans §§ 21–21 (119 sections).

The water resources commission shall from time to time recommend to the governor and the interstate water pollution control commission programs for interstate river basin water quality control and water pollution abatement, and for interstate compacts with neighboring states to effectuate a river basin approach to water quality control, which programs and compacts shall be aided by federal grants available for the purpose.
