Office of jury commissioner

There shall be an office of jury commissioner for the commonwealth, hereinafter called the office. The office shall have authority to implement the provisions of this chapter in the participating counties. It shall be a department within the judicial branch and under the supervision and control of the supreme judicial court. The office, with the approval of the supreme judicial court, may establish branch offices for all regions of the commonwealth.
