Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 23G, § 38

Books, papers, records, documents and equipment; transfer upon termination of agency

Upon the termination of the Agency's existence, all books, papers, records, documents, and equipment, which immediately prior to said termination, are in the custody of the Agency, and which relate to or are maintained for the purpose of the exercise of the Agency's powers or the performance of the Agency's duties and all assets of the Agency of every kind and nature, shall be transferred without further action to the secretary of administration and finance.
