Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 48, § 11

Penalty for refusal of aid

Whoever, without sufficient cause, wilfully refuses or neglects to assist or to allow the use of his property as required by the preceding section, shall be punished by a fine of not less than five nor more than one hundred dollars and may also be imprisoned for not more than two months.
