Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 48, § 77A

Holding real estate for public use; lease of land or public building

A fire district may hold real estate for the public use of its inhabitants and may by its prudential committee let or lease for not more than ten years, on such terms as said committee may determine, land, a public building or part thereof.
