Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 53, § 102

Nomination papers; delivery to city or town clerk

Not less than seven week days before the day upon which the caucuses are to be held and before five o'clock in the afternoon of the last day, the secretary of each city or town committee shall deliver to the city or town clerk the nomination papers filed with him.
