Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 56, § 10

Defacing or removing notices or voting lists

Whoever wilfully defaces or removes a notice relating to the registration of voters, or a voting list, posted according to law, shall be punished by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars or by imprisonment for not more than six months.
