Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 94, § 16I

Penalties for violations of Secs. 16 to 16F

Any person violating any provision of sections sixteen to sixteen F, inclusive, shall for the first offence be punished by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars; and for any subsequent offence shall be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred nor more than five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment for not more than three months, or both.
