Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 94, § 249C

Sale of condemned coal

Whoever, by himself, or by his servant, agent or employee, sells, exposes or offers for sale, or has in his custody or possession with intent to sell, coal condemned under the provisions of section two hundred and forty-nine A shall be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred nor more than one thousand dollars or by imprisonment for not less than one month nor more than one year, or both.
