Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 94, § 294

Interference with inspector

Whoever hinders, obstructs or in any way interferes with any inspector, analyst or other officer appointed or acting under the preceding section while in the performance of his official duty shall be punished for the first offence by a fine of not more than fifty dollars, and for a subsequent offence by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars.
