Whoever knowingly violates the provisions of section three hundred and fifteen shall be punished for each offense by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars. Whoever knowingly provides false or misleading information required under the provisions of section three hundred and seventeen shall be punished for each offense by a fine of not less than one thousand dollars nor more than ten thousand dollars, or imprisonment for not more than one year, or both.
