Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 96, § 10

Fraud of seller or purchaser; inducing false measurements

A seller or purchaser of lumber who induces or attempts to induce a measurer to make a false measurement shall be punished by a fine of not less than fifty nor more than two hundred dollars.
