Md. Code Ann., Agric. § 5-502

The Secretary shall:

(1) Inspect apiaries and honey houses;

(2) Conduct investigations;

(3) Disseminate information to promote the beekeeping industry; and

(4) Keep records of any work performed in carrying out the provisions of this subtitle.
