Md. Code Ann., Bus. Reg. § 19-107

A person may not serve or act as a contractor, a subcontractor, or a broker between a contractor and subcontractor in the State during the 5–year period immediately following the date the person was convicted of an offense constituting criminal malfeasance, misfeasance, or nonfeasance under any federal or state law.
