Known as the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Act

The act spans §§ 9–9 (244 sections).

This title applies to the following employers:

(1) each person who has at least 1 covered employee; and

(2) each governmental unit or quasi-public corporation that has at least 1 covered employee.
