Known as the Insurance Information and Privacy Protection Act

The act spans §§ 2201–2220 (20 sections).

The superintendent may adopt rules to carry out the purposes of this chapter and the privacy protection provisions of the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, 15 United States Code, Section 6801 et seq. (1999). Rules adopted pursuant to this chapter are routine technical rules as defined by Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter II‑A.
