Qualifications; nail technology

Known as the Barbering and Cosmetology Licensure Act

The act spans §§ 14201 to 14252 (40 sections).

PL 1991, c. 397, §6 (NEW)

A person is eligible to obtain a license under this chapter for the practice of nail technology if that person:

1. Age.

2. Education.

3. Training. Has satisfactorily completed a course of instruction in nail technology of 200 hours in not less than 5 weeks in a school licensed by the director or has experience in the practice of nail technology as a trainee of 400 hours distributed over a period of at least 10 weeks; and

4. Examination. Has passed an approved examination.
