Commodity or product protection and promotion boards

The primary responsibility for commodity or product protection and promotion boards is to protect natural resources and agricultural products produced in the State and promote the sales of these goods in the State and outside the State.

The primary powers of these organizations may include the assessment and collection of industry taxes, quality control inspections, establishment of grades and classifications, advertising, the holding of hearings and the adoption of rules.

This classification includes the following.
