Inspections; public policy; records; checklist of violations

Sec. 128. (1) It is the policy of this state that the inspection procedures set forth in this article are established in the public interest, to secure the health and safety of the occupants of dwellings and of the general public. (2) The enforcing agency shall keep a record of all inspections. (3) The enforcing agency shall make available to the general public a checklist of commonly recurring violations for use in examining premises offered for occupancy.
