Invoice error, defect, or impropriety; notice; payment

Sec. 3. (1) If an invoice for goods or services received by a principal executive department is filled out incorrectly or contains a defect or impropriety, the principal executive department shall notify the private enterprise which submitted the invoice within 10 days after the invoice is received. (2) If an invoice error or other defect or impropriety is corrected by a private enterprise within 5 days after receipt of the notice required by subsection (1), the principal executive department shall make payment within the time period required by section 2.
