Director; appointment; term; chief information officer

Sec. 123. (1) The director of the department of technology, management, and budget shall be appointed by the governor by and with the advice and consent of the senate. The director shall serve at the pleasure of the governor. (2) The governor shall designate an individual within the department, including, but not limited to, the director of the department, to serve as the chief information officer for this state. The director may serve concurrently as the state chief information officer.
